Tool tray

This old table had a long narrow drawer in it, as many of these old tables used to have. I remember an aged aunt of mine used to keep tablecloths in hers.

I thought it might make a useful utility tray, so I cleaned it up and added a couple of curved ends, with carry slots cut in.

A coat of wax and it's ready for work: it's quite useful for carrying heavy things around, like the tools above,

... or these part-finished stool legs to and from the lathe and shaving horse.
